Day 3 @ Macau - The Venetian Macao

Along the way back from Ruins of St. Paul's, we went to look for the souvenir.

One of the famous souvenir shop there. You actually can try out all of the products they are selling includes the dried meat (肉干). My dad brought a lot of dried meat. But we already finished makan it before departing from Macau. :D

We passed through a fish ball stall where many people queue up for buying it. So we bought some to eat. The taste was just so-so.

The street crowded with people and many souvenir shops available here.

A-Ma Temple. We took the public bus down to here. We didn’t go into the temple though as you can see the picture there was full of people.

This milk custard (炖奶) was nice.

Evening, before we went to visit The Venetian Macau, we took a short trip in Fisherman’s Wharf (渔人码头) where next to the Macau-HK Ferry Terminal. The Fisherman’s Wharf is the first theme park in Macau. All the stores and restaurants within here are builds in the style of different world seaport like Cape Town, Amsterdam and Venice. It has three major themes which is Dynasty Wharf, East Meets West and Legend Wharf.

This was part of Dynasty Wharf.

Alright, we got to take shutter bus to The Venetian Macau.

For your information, The Venetian Macau is a Renaissance Venice-themed luxury hotel and casino resort in Macau. It is reproduced on its sister casino resort – The Venetian in Las Vegas. The Venetian Macau is the largest single structure hotel building in Asia and the fourth-largest building in the world. Its casino is currently the largest in the world as well.

Day 3 @ Macau - Ruins of St. Paul's & Mount Fortress

This morning we went to eat Macau’s famous food which was the Portuguese egg tart. The café was located the street behind of our guesthouse we stayed. Besides of the tart, they have various kinds of sandwich and drinks. Most of the officers like to come over here took away their breakfast.

It was fresh, warm and delicious. I ate two to three pieces continually. Any nice Portuguese egg tart available in KL? I want to makan leh.....

You can pick any filling you want into your sandwich.

Third floor of this building was the guesthouse we stayed.

The place we had the Portuguese egg tart called Magret's Café & Nata. Every single Portuguese egg tart costs MOP5.50.

Day 2 @ ZhuHai - 圆明新园 (New Yuan Ming Palace)

The New Yuan Ming Palace would be the last place to go for our tour package. Among all the sightseeing that we went through the whole day, this place was the most interesting one. Here was the shooting location of the popular China drama “My Fair Princess (还珠格格)” as well.

Here is little information about New Yuan Ming Palace that I get it from internet.

The New Yuan Ming Palace is a reproduction of the imperial Yuan Ming Yuan in Beijing, one of the favorite gardens of the late emperors of the Qing dynasty. It was burnt down and completely destroyed by British and French troops in 1860. The New Yuan Ming Palace was built as a reminder of the glory and the bitter history of ancient China and has been set up as a patriotism education site.

The entrance fee was RMB60 (for night season only).

For the night season ticket after 6pm only can got into there. We been there early and felt little bit hungry. So we bought this makan.

Day 2 @ ZhuHai - 九州城 (JiuZhou Cheng), 景山园 (JingShan Park) and Island Hopping

Hey, I’m back. Thanks to the assignments, this Macau post keeps pausing. I promise the whole thing will be finish as soon as possible. There’s lot of other post is pending because of this.

Early morning we took public bus off to ZhuHai city. By the way, I love Macau public bus service. Their buses got many turns within a short moment. I wondered when is our country can do that.

We actually can’t get much tourist information about ZhuHai city especially for their bus router and sightseeing location through the internet. So the best choice was joined their one day trip package. Regarding to their tourism management, I used “sucks” to describe their service. We paid one day trip money, but we received half day visiting only.

First of all, we registered the package then they sent us to unknown bus station and wait for further arrangement. After that we wait for one hour and wait for don’t know what the hell procedure then we only gets into the bus. We wait another more than one hour to wait for the unscheduled late tour guide. We spent the whole afternoon wait this and that. End up we were rushing from one place to another place. Moreover most of the sightseeing spots were not really special and felt bored.

We went to the first place,JiuZhou Cheng (九州城). It is museum and nothing special out there.

Outside of the museum I found some hawkers like this woman. She was still using the traditional Chinese steelyard balance to measure the weight.

After the quick visit of museum, we had the lunch at a restaurant which was included in the tour package. Next, we headed to second sightseeing spot, JingShan Park (景山园).

There’s two ways got to the peak:

Cable car

Or

Bus no.11 (jalan kaki)

The hill was rather high. By walking up to the peak spend you half an hour. But cable car just need 3 minutes would reach there.

Oh yea, you have to pay for the cable car. I forgot the price though.

From the peak you can see through ZhuHai city. The weather was not nice and can’t see it clearly.

There’s two ways back to the ground. One was the cable car or this...

One minute reaches ground. Damn fast. Unfortunately, we don’t have much time to wait for the long queue. :(

Evening, we’re arrived WanZai Wharf to take the Macau island hopping. It’s quite disappointing and felt bored along this journey. If this activity make it at night would be better, as least we can see the beautiful night view rather than grey sky and without sunset. Nevertheless, I will put the photos at here but add some warm color on it. Otherwise everything will be in dull color.

Day 1 @ Macau - Fountain & McDonald

Alright, this is the last part for day one at Macau.

I realized that first day we went quite lot of places when I reviewed back the photos. Perhaps all these places were near to each other, so we managed to walk through within one night. Sometimes we already tired of walking but it was too early back to hostel and sleep. That’s why I had much more time to set up tripod and snap night view. Keke...

Wynn Hotel. The fountain is in front of here. It will present every 15 minutes. Once it starts, many people sit beside of it and watch until the end.

This fellow was damn stupid. He saw I was shooting the fountain, but he insists to pass over in front of my camera. !@#$%^$%^%$##%^

For our dinner, we actually never planned to eat McDonald. Thanks to all the restaurants were full of people and need to take some time to get our seat. Therefore, I got chance to try pork burger in McDonald. Kekeke....Malaysia never has pork in any fast food restaurant. Try not to expect it will appear right here forever. I know you are encouraged to try their local food instead of fast food when you been to other country. But this moment, that was considered a must try for us.

Day 1 @ Macau - Grand Lisboa Hotel

During the night time, Macau will turns into a very beautiful city. All of their building decorated with fancy lighting. I was curious that how they did it and how the programmers set everything nicely. Yes, I think too much. Lol...

There’s an area allow you to let off the firework legally. You can watch the firework throughout the night. That’s make you feel the Chinese New Year atmosphere. By the way, I love Macau night view very much. It will kill you lot of storage to snap through all of the buildings.

Below are the series of Grand Lisboa Hotel photos. Grand Lisboa Hotel is totally a new version of Lisboa Hotel. It features with a tall lotus shaped which is designed by the Feng Shui Master. Unfortunately, I don’t have chance to go in have a glance. If not mistaken inside has very grand design.

Day 1 @ Macau - St. Dominic's Church

Sorry, I was busying with my assignments lately. Let’s come back to Macau post.

After having the tea time, we continued walked toward Senado Square. I found out a church called St. Dominic’s Church (玫瑰堂). Erm, this was my first time stepped into the church. Haha

Before going there, I got this shot which my mum and my bro were busy looking at the map.

This was the interior of the church. It has been developed into HDR. I remember many people looking at me when I taking this shot with my tripod. I noticed even few of the DSLR gang from other country was like “Is that necessary get this shot with the tripod?” Yes, it is necessary because there’s very dark.

The church will be closed at 6pm something then the light will turn on later.

Day 1 @ Macau - Senado Square

Third day of CNY (Lin Chor Saam), we separated all luggage into two cars and then headed off from Ipoh to KLIA at 4am. All of us were sleepy and it took lots of concentrate when driving along the highway. But I couldn’t sleep at all because I was excited with it, ok? Haha....

Our flight departure time was 11am, so we were there around 9.30am and finished check-in procedure. Then we had the rough breakfast at airport since we still have time. Commonly, their foods were expensive. Like I ordered a cup of hot chocolate (exactly was Milo) it costs 10 bucks. The drink was watery. Fine, I better wait for my formal breakfast in aeroplane afterward.

I understood that cheap flight fare with narrow space of seat was definitely making your knee suffered. Therefore, I don’t want complaint about it but I preferred Qatar Airline as it much comfortable than MAS. Haha...

Talking about our flight meal, it doesn’t have any surprise. So just forget it. The journey from KLIA to Macau international airport was 3 hours and 45 minutes.

As I mentioned above, this was backpacking trip. All the things were planned by my sister and me. My sister would be in charge of flight and hostel booking. My responsibility was planning the itinerary and bus route. Backpacking trip was new to us but everything still running smooth.

When you checking out the Macau map, you would thought that Macau was quite a big place. It seems that very far distance from one place to another place by looking at the map. Actually there’s a small land. You could reach some of the sightseeing easily by walking.

We checked out from airport then went out took bus (AP1) to Macau-HK Ferry Terminal. Bus fare was MOP 3.30/ person. Luggage would extra charge. Afterward, we took shutter bus to Grand Lisboa Hotel. For your information, you could take all the shutter bus for free which provided by the hotel even you’re not their resident. This was the tips for going some other places without paying money.

We arrived Grand Lisboa Hotel and then followed the map that given by Augusters Lodge to check-in our room. From Grand Lisboa Hotel to Augusters Lodge was only 10-15 minutes. If you’re interested to see how the hostel interior looks like please click here.

Senado Square has many shops and restaurants. Here's considered the crowded place. Damn sad that I forgot to snap the night view of this street.

The weather was 14° if not mistaken. So everyone was wearing winter dress.

Wong Ji Gei restaurant. We found it at Senado Square. This restaurant was recommended by many people and magazine. That’s why lot of people waiting for the seat. This wasn’t our dinner; it’s just our food exploration. Hehe..

Once you sit down, they will serve you a cup of tea. For the Macau and Hong Kong version, this isn’t for you to drink. In fact, this is used for cleaning your meal set. So don’t think that is free drink.

We ordered Wan Tan Mee. I don’t like the mee because it was dry and hard. I prefer Malaysia one. The Wan Tan was contains of fresh prawn. It was quite nice.

This was the soup one.

We ordered Tank Zai Joke (艇仔粥, porridge). It tastes ok.

Last food we ordered was Pork Chop Bread (猪扒包). I quite like it.

Overall their food was ok ok only. I don’t know why all the magazine and internet said this was highly recommended restaurant in Macau.

Tenji japanese buffet III

This is last part for the buffet dinner and I’m lazy to describe it already. Haha...so just enjoy the photos.

We took lot of mini cake. So I can’t remember which one tastes good. Haha...

This one tastes like five kernel filling moon cake. It reminds me of my grandfather’s favorite moon cake flavor.

These are the Haagen daz ice-cream. It doesn’t have must different with the normal ice-cream. I can’t figure out this is branded ice-cream without telling me. So is it Haagen daz’s packaging with Wall’s ice-cream?

The ice-cream starts melting. But we still continue snap picture of it. End up we “drink” the ice-cream.

It is chocolate fondue. It has honeydew and grapes.

Phew....finally my hard disk was revival. Actually the problem wasn’t that hard to solve it, just I did many steps then only gets the right solution. Anyway, now it is running well. So just keep it as my experience. Next time should be easy to handle the same problem. Hehehe....

Go back to our buffet dinner. As what I predicted, their foods weren’t that nice because I heard there’s lot of negative comments from internet. Most of them were complaints about their service like very hard to call in for reservation or their foods only have little choices. For me, I called them once then got my seat booking successfully. But the foods were exactly not many choices. After two to three rounds, you’ll felt nothing to eat.

Well, stop writing until here. Let’s see our main course.

The oyster is as big as your palm. It tastes good and fresh.

Their sushi tastes bad. Just try out one or two pieces enough. I think Sushi King has better sushi than this.

Don’t care loh, start to eat. By the way, their dinner sets are quite dirty. :(

These are mini coconut drinks. We took more than 20 of it. Lol...

The sashimi was pretty good. That’s why I ate a lot.

I felt kinda weird that they served with Chinese New Year dish.

Dim sum. It was pretty saltish.

Highly recommended the smoked salmon roll.

No idea how the soft shell crab taste is.

Macau review have to postpone again as my desktop’s hard disk was officially damaged. Sad.... Now my last hope is relaying on the data recovery software. I wish it manage to get back my files. I don’t expect it can recovery back 100%, but at least 70 – 80%. Other than that, I need to spend some money to get a new hard disk. Sad again!

Back to last Monday, we (Kelvin, 20, Cmei, Hon Mun and Egg) went to Tenji have our dinner buffet. Omg, mmg rich. Haha.... Although they’re doing promotion which RM50 discount for every 2 diners, but end up it still costs each person RM71.80 (included 10% service charge). Yup, it doesn’t have time limit for your dinner. So you can eat as many as possible between 5.30 – 10.30pm.

We carried our camera into the food corner and started our shooting. Thanks to our big size of camera, it grabs lot of attention from others. lol...But the Tenji’s staffs didn’t stop us for doing that. Hehe...

Thank you for the belated birthday celebration by this afternoon. Thanks to my classmates.

Broga Hill’s post has been interrupted for a week because I went back to Ipoh celebrates cny with my family. And as what Darren said, I went to Macau as well. Kekeke....Macau trip review maybe comes late as now I got to follow up all of my assignments.

The day I went to Broga Hill the weather is superb nice, blue sky without any clouds, plus greenly grasses. I definitely can imagine myself been to New Zealand. Haha....

Some photo is quite similar with each other because I’d try different composition. It’s kinda hard for me to choose. So I just upload right here. Hehhe....Ok lah, I stop writing it. Let’s enjoy the photos.

For many would ask how to go this place, you may refer to this map. Perhaps it helps you a lot.

Few months ago I saw a blogger been there and I get surprise that Malaysia has such beautiful hill. Afterward, Kun had blog about this as well. So I just simply shared these to my sister. I never expect I’ll be able have a visit to there, but now it comes true. Kekeke....

The entrance of Broga hill is an unnoticeable oil palm estate. Therefore, the opposite of Rabbit Fun Land is the entrance of it.

We arrived there at 6am where the sky was dark yet. Luckily, few of them had prepared the torch light. I have weak eyesight, so all the way I “mang zhong zhong” went up to the peak. I quite often stop down and rest a minute as I don’t have exercise since many years ago. haha...

Too cloudy, so cannot see “ham dan wong”....

Majority of them owns a DSLR and comes toward shoot sunrise.

This morning I’d visit Broga Hill at Semenyih, where a favorite place for most of the photographer and those who enjoy climbing.

For the people are not active in sporting, like me (old man) kinda suffer when you get to the top. But it is worth when you see such nice scenery at hill top.

It’s kinda hard to do shooting on the last day of PC Fair because there was more crowded than two days ago. When you took your camera and ready to press shutter, those people either stop at there look at you or just ignore you and pass through in front of your camera.

I went to shoot Eva again. Haha... As Cmei yesterday said that I can request Eva take care of me when I go into lou yan yuen. Think back of it sounds funny also. lol..

Although worldwide facing the economy crisis, but it couldn’t stop the people crowd into pc fair grabs the cheap goods. For me, I went inside “grab” the chicks. :D

Keep away from the lorry!

Last week my mum met an accident when was fetching the workers back home. The fucking lorry driver insists to overtake the cars in front of him even he saw my mum was coming toward from front. My mum didn’t even have time to horn him, then the lorry already bang over to her. Luckily that my mum slightly gets out of the way, otherwise my mum would not be here. Unfortunately, right side of the car has been crashed. Two mirrors were smashed and its broken pieces fall on my mum. The workers sat behind the car were blank and they keep scolding the lorry driver.

The lorry driver was Indian guy. After the accident, he was hidden himself somewhere. My mum suspected that he took alcohol. My dad actually knows that Indian driver because he always sends the goods to factory. My dad gave a call to his boss and tried to get his little information. Afterward, my mum did report to polis as well in order to claim the insurance.

Thanks god that nobody gets injured in this accident, the car’s body is hard enough to protect the passengers. If this is Proton car, can’t imagine how serious of destructive the car would be. So please be careful of the lorry. You as the passenger should remind the driver as well.

For the Christmas Eve photos, I haven’t converted it to jpeg. Be patient, once I done it I’ll send to you all. Hehe...

Oh ya...still sempat to say happy new year to everyone. :D

Kekeke……Finally I bought the Nikon SB-800 flashgun during last week. Actually this model had stop production and most of the shops finished stock. I should say many thanks to one of the net friend who told me it’s available at certain shop where located next to the digital mall.

The price between SB-800 and SB-900 differ few hundreds only. Of cause SB-900 is more advance in term of its specs. I’d struggle in make purchase either one of them only. At last, I’d think carefully about that which the SB-800 is enough for me.

I have to understand how it works and how to deal with the setting. That’s why I’d really work hard on reading the instruction manual book. Haha…. (revision tak nampak u rajin sangat? Lol…)

I regret to serve myself a cup of Teh O panas during 10pm something, it cause me sleepless now. How come my body so sensitive with all these drinks (coffee and tea)?

Looking back to end of October, that was another pig’s birthday. We had the lunch celebration at Kissaten, Jaya One with our own tutorial group members, except few of them were absent. 21 years old birthday celebration of cause must have something special which might unforgettable in your life. Strongly remind everyone again that after 21 all the birthday celebration go back to Normal – because we are Adult already, no more Playful Activates, it just purely make a wish and eat cake. Lol…..

Ok lah, finally I update my blog. Please forgive me that not updating it such a long time. I was definitely a lazybones and missed out many posts, e.g. Adobe CS4 seminar, Kelvin’s birthday celebration, outing, etc.

The water pipe repairing project (behind of my house) was irritated me. This morning suppose I can enjoy my sleeping, but they’re started their work early morning. Their motor makes the very noisy and annoying sounds from day to night. It keep continue many days already. I almost get crazy because of that. Besides of that, the Chinese supervisor always scolds the malay workers with rude words. Most funny was the rude words spoke in Cantonese like “ti_ le_ m_ cho_ ha_ buat macam ni lah! Ape ha_ you buat begitu. Chun dou ha_!” Yea… is something like this. I wondered are they understanding that or not.

Wedding dinner

Just went back from the wedding dinner. Tired and full.

The wedding dinner was held at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC). The reason of my cousin (tong gor) makes the wedding dinner over there because he was the member of the golf club.

The interior of the dinner room was decorated more to the western style, but the foods they served were Chinese traditional dishes.

Their wedding photos are very nice in term of the spot shooting, composition and all that. It is considered the best wedding photographs I had seen. On the spot already have around 10 photographers holding the camera ready for shooting. All of them using full frame camera and attached those superb lens!!!! Yes, my tong gor worked as part time wedding photographer. That’s why he invited quite many photographers gang attend his dinner. Imagine that I took out my D80 with the lousy kit lens at there, how are those professional photographers think of me?

Tomorrow is my “wonderful” Sunday. It means that tons of works to do. So better go and take a rest now. Goodnight.

Ok....let’s continue the birthday dinner at Fullhouse.

That’s what we ordered:

Quite a number of us ordered this chicken chop. It was highly recommended. (Cmei, what’s the name of it ah?)

Hehe….this was another cake prepared by Dylan, Hon Mun and me. Sorry guys...cannot share the cake on the spot because this was half kilo cake only, as we never expected there’s so many people join for the dinner.

Well, that’s all for the celebration. Most of them like this place so much. Yes, I like it too. Next time bring my sister have the dinner here, so that I can try out other foods again. Kekeke.....

Hehe….just finished watching Bangkok Dangerous at Pavilion with friends. The last I had the movie in cinema was half years ago. Before that almost everyday busy for assignments, now finally got the chance to enjoy that.

Back to the movie, overall I was ok for that. Few parts of it are quite funny also. Unfortunately, the ending was sucks!

That pig’s birthday celebration will be up soon. The tag I received from kar yee is pending now as the questions are really hard to answer it. Can I skip the part one ah?? :D

LRT Putra Line

It was a little humorous story that I heard while taking LRT back home. This was happened between two strangers who was a malay woman (OL) and a malay young guy. The train was going to Setiawangsa station; these two strangers started their conversation as below.

Guy: Do you know where the Terminal Putra is?
Woman: Terminal Putra?
Guy: Yea, do you know that?
Woman: Er…Terminal Putra ah? You need to get back to Masjid Jamek and then take Star Line interchange back to LRT Putra Line.
Guy: Really? (He looks little confuse.)
Woman: Only LRT Putra Line can be arrived Terminal Putra.

OMG! After I heard that I feel like laughing.

Hello! Now you’re taking LRT Putra Line please, don’t point the wrong way for others. That guy seems not that stupid believe what she said. In the end, he called out ask for help from his friend.

Oh ya, I met my secondary friend. She was working as part timer for i-Feel function. We were excited met up with each other accidently. We thought the other side had changed the contact number. Actually we are not. She reminded me the secondary school life like few of us almost everyday ss at the back. From the first class laughed till finished class.

Honestly, I’m not passion in photographing the function especially those event and fashion show. Don’t ask me why. Anyway, that’s my first try on it. Few photos only...

I felt numb with the exam, like now, not really happy or excited even though it was end.

Just now I had the steamboat BBQ with the course mates at Kelana Jaya. Damn full now. I’m very sleepy and super tired but still need to rest for awhile. Otherwise the tummy is getting big.

This Sunday I’m going back to hometown. I’ll be hidden at there for two weeks. Lol….No lah, enjoy my holidays with my parents and return to my normal lifestyle. Back to the low speeds internet connection life as well. :(

Two more papers to go, but I’m not patient to wait the moment I finish the exam. There is another five semesters for this course. Why the time pass such that slow?

Tomorrow is moon cake festival. I didn’t back hometown celebrate it with my family because the history exam paper fall on the coming Tuesday.

I just started to read the history notes. Damn lot of things to memorize. Some more tomorrow going to cmei’s house do the celebration. I start worry that’s not enough time to read through all the notes.

Whatever lah, the result for this semester sure will drop down a lot.

Another thing I can’t wait for is……Chinese New Year. *not because of angpau*

Anyway, I quite anticipate the coming cny 2009. kekeke….Don’t worry, I will explain it later. Be patient.

MIFC 2008 - Final

Last week went to MIFC at Putrajaya for watching the final. Around 7pm we're been there and get the nice place for shooting. Three hours we spent at there adjust the camera and chitchat with each other. It's kinda boring to wait and just because of 15 minutes firework show. Stupid kan? Sana still got banyak stupid tunggu bersama-sama. lol...

The weather was nice for that whole night. The firework was not really nice if compared to last year finale. This was my first time snap the firework. Perhaps I'm not good in controlling the speed and aperture. That's why some of the photos might overexposure.

Things to do after completing the assignments:

1. Update my blog – My blog had been abandoned for two weeks something. The common reason is rushing the works until no time to have my breakfast, lunch or even dinner. Stop talking about that as it was the nightmare. By the way, firework’s photos will be update here soon.

2. Clean up the room – Yes, my room is super messy. Those packaging materials throw here and there. The floor is quite dirty as well. Due to busy for the works, I simply sweep it. Don’t ask me how long didn’t wipe up the floor. I think the water will turns out black color in the coming cleaning job.

3. Prepare the stupid exam – There are five papers for this semester. It is bloody hard to catch up all the things. Packaging Design and Interactive Multimedia shouldn’t need to sit for the exam. That is wasting the time to memorize the stupid theories and the terms.

4. Blog’s theme – If you view back to the older posts, you will see some of the text appears big and small or even different fonts. I don’t know what the problem there is. And some of the people told me that my photos are very small. I’m going to get a new layout for permanent use which can display large photos and easy for maintenance.

Things to do after finishing the exam:

1. Back hometown - That’s been a long while didn’t see my parents. All of you who know me, you should know my habit that only the semester break I’ll go back to hometown. I dislike the way that today I going back and two days later come back to KL. There is always a sarcastic reply by my mum: “you prefer KL life more than Ipoh”. Apparently, yes I am. lol….I also miss my hometown lah!

2. Trip – Maybe have the trip with friends or go somewhere makan makan. Of cause it is for shooting purpose as well. Hehe… I’m planning to do a visit Ipoh Tour as a short introduction to my hometown. The interesting places and local foods will be taking down and post at here. Hopefully it is work successfully. :D

I've been busy for the assignments lately. Of cause now I’m still going on for that. Here’s no updated after I done the tagged. This will be a full and long text posting as I have a lot of things to say. Those who are not patient in reading the long text, try to separate it into half and continue on other day. Or you just skip reading it. :D

Assignments
The assignments deadlines are really killing me. No, I shouldn’t say like this; it’s killing the whole class. Now the moral and history of art are done. The animation is considered complete as well, it’s just need to add in the sound and place the reply button. Clare’s work is fine.

I’m worried about packaging design and strategy for advertising. Amelia, I getting hate you. You are smoker! You are smoker! You spoiled the image in my mind. You told me that my packaging design is not work at last minute.

Shorty, still the same I hate you also. But this moment, Amelia is more disgusted than you.

Healthy
It’s a big problem for not sleeping frequently. I often rush the works and even don’t have the time for me to sleep. I knew I’m that kind of person who likes to do my work in last minute. Somehow last minute works make me feel excited and challenging. Lol…

Ok lah, I’ll try to shift back to the normal life when the semester break.

Freelance’s work
The latest freelance’s work I had is introduced by my friend. It’s better to not mention his name right here. Hehe….

It is web designing. I won’t provide the link of that website although it is online now. The design is not nice. I’ll not admit that’s one of my portfolios as the design is not done by me. They provided me the design and my job is convert the graphic into HTML form.

During the progress of the work, I facing a lot of problems and it’s really make me headache the most. And it always cause me cannot sleep in order to complete everything.

The boss is most bitchy. I knew the client always have their rights to make changes. Please, try not to change your mind whenever you want. You’re not paying me very the high cost to build up the website. You should know that I’m student, I cannot stand by 24 hours just settle the changes for you. If you’re not satisfied incorporate with me, just looking for someone else to follow up the works. I felt very tired working with you too. But make sure pay me what I had done.

Sigh, I getting mad when talking about him. Calm down~ Calm down~

Day 6 @ Bali

Sign, the last day for staying at Bali.

Everyone woke up at 6am to see sunrise beside the beach. During that time, the workers just started to clean up the beach and all that.

After enjoying the sunrise, it’s time to have our breakfast at hotel. The breakfast started from 6.30am. Damn early.

Finished breakfast then back room and had a nap. mmg pig…..lol

I ready to soak into the bathtub. If someone massage for me at the same time will be nicer. Hehehe….

12pm, we checked out the hotel. Our driver came over here at 2.30pm something. Then we spent the time at the seaside.

Along the way we found lot of starfish.

The seawater was clear like the mineral water.

I arranged it for fun.

Another massage was making at 3pm. It was free of charge as well. They offered the full body massage to us and its duration was around 1 hour. I felt relax after having that.

Last station, we’re shopping at Kuta local market and Matahari.

Kuta local market, it’s not worth to shopping around here because the stuffs not that cheap. The sellers were not so friendly too.

Matahari was the local shopping center where beside the Kuta local market. You can get the very cheap price and quality clothing here.

Our last dinner at Bali would be at Hard Rock café. We got the vouchers to enjoy the free dinner here. You only can choose one from the three main courses and a soft drink.

I ordered herbal grill chicken breast. Its big portion and most of them couldn’t finish it. Yet I managed to do so as I too hungry.

Fish and chip. Good taste!

While we’re having the dinner, a guy tries to propose to his girlfriend. He cooperated with Hard Rock café that passed him a microphone and announced his declaration to the girl. The huge projector screen playing their sweet couple photos and he started to sing the love song, Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love for You. The guy shows a bit nervous and stressful as he couldn’t fail this mission. He then kneels down and shows out the ring. Everyone in the café was cheered up them. In the end, the girl nodded and said “I do”. Romantic sei~

Suddenly, a band perhaps arranged by the café, they presented the Balinese music as the greeting to them. But the music was like “dong-dong-dong-chiang….dong-chiang-dong-chiang”, very close to that kind of music when Chinese held the funeral. If I’m not mistaken the couple are either from Malaysia or Singapore.

Dana sent us to airport and took a group photo together with him before we’re leave. Kesian the driver kena hold the camera for us. lol…..

The flight was departure at 11.35pm. We arrived KL was already 2am.

Day 5 @ Bali

Almost the recommended sightseeing tour had been visited by four days ago and the Bali trip supposed to end on yesterday. If we stick back to four days trip at Bali, the return flight ticket will be expensive a lot. Therefore, we extended another two days at here. Tour guide and driver would not be here within these days as their task had been done on day four. Anywhere we would like to go have to arrange by ourselves.

Previously, we’re desperate to see dolphin at Lovina. We found the driver to go over there. The driver was actually introduced by Dana.

You can to see the dolphin at 7am to 8am only. We have to start on the journey at 2.30am midnight because the destination was far away from our hotel. It spent us around three hours to arrive there. The boat we took was narrow and it doesn’t have so much space allow you to move around.

Yet the moon was there.

The sun is rising up from the sea level.

There are lots of boats looking for the dolphin as well.

The dolphin is jumping up from the sea. Can you see that?

It was hard to capture the dolphin. This was the best shot I had among all the dolphin’s photos.

Afterward, the boatman brought us to marine park feed the fish. We saw a starfish totally in blue color, very nice.

Still the same, the marine park was not as good as Redang but better than the snorkeling we had on day four.

Oh yea, the transportation fee to go Lovina.
Van & driver: Rp600, 000 (approx. RM200)
Boat: Rp150, 000 (approx. RM50)

On the way back, we make stop at Gitgit waterfall. Entrance fee is needed, Rp6, 000.

Again, we’re desperate to eat Bebek Bengil. We persuaded to the driver bring us to eat it. The driver agree with that in the end (no extra charge oh, baguskan the driver).

Pork ribs. It was so tasty. It is highly recommended.

Evening, we took the shutter bus which was provided by the hotel to Nusa Dua town. This town was control by the strict security. We passed through the shopping center, Sogo to Nusa Dua beach.

Within the Nusa Dua area, we found a place called “Water Blow”. lol….

Day 4 @ Bali

We checked out from the Legian Hotel and then proceed to Benoa beach for water sport activities. It was the extra activities which was not included in our tour package. We did the discussion and selected the package which included the glass bottom boat, snorkeling and turtle island. It cost 20 USD per person.

* Bali’s snorkeling is not as good as Pulau Redang or even Pulau Pangkor. lol….So, you better take other water sport activities rather than this.

* So called the “glass bottom boat” is really make you frightening because you will see nothing underneath beside of the sea grass and sand.

* Conclusion, it’s not worth for paying 20 USD to pick these activities.

Benoa beach

We do the snorkeling here tau! The fish are little only. I think we’re spending half an hour around here for swimming more than snorkeling.

Afterward, we headed for Turtle Island. It’s not an island; it’s actually a farm they called as “Turtle Island”. The farm was mainly for artificial incubation the sea turtle.

The visitors are allowed to hold the sea turtle and photographing with it.

This was actually big and heavy.

Its skin texture is very nice.

This Malay girl has a great strength to hold the sea turtle by herself.

Yen Leng never felt nervous of the snake putting on her body. geng!

The anger was standing on my sister’s shoulder.

When my turns, the anger was like want to peck me.

There was another unimaginable thing that happened at Turtle Island. We saw a banner hanging at the exit which was appealing to do donation to their farm. We got no money at that time. As you know that nobody would bring along their wallet out for snorkeling, am I right? The donation end up was like we must to write down our name and the amount of donation on piece of paper, then they’ll follow you back to get the money. The amount was limit to minimum Rp10, 000. What the…… Do they understand the meaning of donation?

We paid USD 18 for another water sport activity, fly fish. I feel like playing the second round of it because it was too syok. No idea of how is that look like? Please watch the video as below.

Aston Hotel where was around Benoa beach. We checked in the hotel with body wet situation, felt kinda uncomfortable. This hotel was much better than Legian Hotel. Of cause it was 5 stars hotel and RM400 ++ per night for standard room. We’ll stay here for two days.

Once we got the room key, we took a quick shower and then went for our lunch. We’re supposed to eat the Bebek Bengil, unfortunately the restaurant was under revolution. So the Babi guling would be our second choice.

Babi guling. It’s ok for me. But some of them don’t like it.

Dreamland was another beach for surfing and the “papaya” hanging around there. You should get what I mean. Perhaps this time we been there crowded of people and couldn't see any “papaya trees”. I’m not desperate to see that though.

Last station, Uluwatu where was the cliff temple. We arrived there was the right time to see sunset. It was a nice place, but the visitors were always being disturbing by the monkey. All the monkeys were actually trained by the local people to grabs visitor’s stuff. Once your things kena grabs by the monkey, you have to redeem it from them with the money. They charge you according the valuable of your stuff. Normally the monkey will grab your sunglasses, caps, specs and necklace.

I am the half of blind person once taking down my glasses. It was super not convenience to visit this place. I roughly to photograph the view and all that as I couldn’t see everything in clearly. Surprisingly, the outcome wasn’t that bad. :P

The cliff and wave was great until you feel like jumping down to there.

Day 3 @ Bali

As usual, we woke up early and had the breakfast at hotel. Then we walked to Kuta beach where nearby the Legian Street.

Kuta beach is famous of surfing. Therefore, swimming prohibited around here.

Reflection. (Somehow the photo lacks kind of feeling. I’ll do further touch up for this photo later. Suggestions are welcome. Hehe..)

We came back to the hotel earlier as Dana picked us up at 11am. My sister and I went to hotel’s swimming pool enjoyed the morning sunlight meanwhile I taking some photos.

We proceed to the next place, Taman Ayun. No deny that temples are one of the interesting places at Bali. This was the third temple we had been. Further temple will be visited in the coming days as well.

Passed through many the paddy fields and tortuous paths, we arrived the restaurant where located at the mountain, Pacung. It was lunch buffer again. The foods nicer than the previous day we had.

Enjoy your lunch and nice view at the same time. The resort was available at the downside. The paddy fields around it were belonging to the resort. Room rate per night up to hundreds US dollar.

Next, we went to temple again. The different was the temple build up on the lake. Thus, it is called Lake Temple, Bedugul. Here was super windy and its weather was changing all the time.

Again, we went to temple. Tanah Lot was the most famous among all the temples in the Bali. It is considered the must-go places.

We spent around 45 minutes at Tanah Lot’s market. All the paintings that I bought get it from here.

* Try to arrange more time at this market; you will get the reasonable price for the key chains, painting, clothing, and any kind of souvenirs. Do remember negotiate in Bahasa.

Unfortunately, 45 minutes was not enough for us to crazy shopping, really.

We rush up to the last station, Jimbaran where enjoy the sunset dinner. Damn the sky get dark after 6pm. We got no chance to see the sunset. We arrived there at 7.15pm; the sun was already tenggelam ke dalam laut. B_bi!

Luckily the seafood was nice except the crab. I wondered how they cook it until you can’t even find the crab meat. @.@

By the way, it was recommended restaurant.

Yea, a team of Balinese come around to your table and perform the song. They are capable to sing various kind of language, such as Japanese, Korean, Malay, English, and Chinese. They get to know that we are from

Malaysia

, so they present the Chinese song called “Yue Liang Dai Biao Wo De Xin”, original singer was Teng Li Jun (Cantonese: Tang Lai Guan). Their pronunciation weren’t that accurate, but it’s acceptable and worth to give a clap. Last step, request for the donation. We donated Rp10, 000 (approx. RM3.30) to them. Kedekut kan? Haha…..

8.30pm, we went back to hotel and rest. The next day we were going to check out from the hotel and go for water sport.

Day 2 @ Bali

We woke up at 7am and had the breakfast in the hotel. It was buffer, not many choices of food though. Tour guide and driver came over at 8am and brought us to the first place, where watch the “Barong Dance”. “Barong” was so called the god in Bali. There was lot of foreigner holding their camera and video camera get ready to record down the show. I also get excited to see the dance. The show started around 15 minutes and all of us left there. The dance was superb boring and couldn’t understand what they doing. I knew we were not appreciated their culture. Dana even said that he couldn’t really get them too.

That was the “Barong”.

Well, we skip the dance and headed off to next place.

We were not allowed to take any photos inside the painting storeroom. I’m sure you know the reason, isn’t it? Most of their artworks were very impressive no matter it was abstract, scenery, artistic, cultural, or realistic painting. It makes you feel like buying all after looking through of them. We didn’t ask for the price as in your common scene the huge painting would be expensive.

We were arrived the Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave). It wasn’t the so interesting place. Anyway, since you been Bali you may take a look of it. The entrance fee was Rp 6,000 (approx. RM2). You must to wear sarong for those the pant couldn’t cover through your knees. It was the good news to the people who wearing the long pant. Don’t worry that no extra charge for the sarong.

I couldn’t remember the name for this door. I only knew that one side is bad, another side is good. The people walking in the middle are equal.

Alright, it’s time to have our lunch at Kintamani. It was lunch buffer where the restaurant was facing to the volcanic. There was windy and a bit cold.

Next, we went to Ubud town. Dana brought us to the palace. The palace was open public because the Raja ngam ngam passed away.

Then, we spent one hour at Ubud market. You can buy the souvenir around here.

* Negotiating with Bahasa will helps you to get the discount up to 50 – 70%. As they thought you are Jakarta’s Chinese. Don’t expect the cheaper price if you speak English to them, Dana said.

Again, I didn’t know the name of this temple. 5 minutes walk from Ubud market.

We had the dinner at Bali Galleria, Denpasar. The restaurant was inside the shopping complex. The environment of the restaurant was quite good. But the food was sucks especially the vegetable dish. It was like uncooked and mixed with weird taste sauce. The vegetable dish was the biggest portion among all the dishes.

We back to the hotel and make booking for the massage. It was free of charge. We need to take turns to do it because there was not enough place to fit in 9 people at the same time. I was the last turns. They request you to take off the cloth only and lain on the bed. They massage from the foot and continue the back side. It was half body massage and took you 25 minutes something to finish it. I felt kinda itchy when she’s massage my thigh. So far the massage wasn’t bad.

It was 10.45pm and we were still gone out to Legian Street lepak-lepak. We went to Maccoroni had the beer drinks. The pub has the very nice interior design. We ordered the local beer called “Bintang” and two plates of French fried. The “Bintang” was no different with the Heineken. One bottle of it cost you Rp22, 000 (approx. RM7.30).

Wednesday, 25 Jun, I took 3.00pm flight off to Bali. As usual the airplane was late around 10 to 15 minutes.

Airplane’s interior. The seat was comfortable and service was good.

This was the flight food. Overall was not bad, you may request for other drinks such as orange, apple juice and alcohol.

The salad dish was very nice.

The taste of the curry chicken rice was above average. I still finished it though. Hehe…

After eating the meal, I read the magazine and then had a nap.

You can sleep like this because there were not many passengers for this flight.

The airplane was in the between of the clouds.

The journey took us three hours from KLIA to Bali, Ngurah Rai Airport. Around 6pm we were arrived the destination. In Bali, the sky was starting to get dark at 6pm something. Its always gave you that kind of feeling like "it’s time to back hotel and have a rest".

We met out with our tour guide and ready to have our first dine in Bali. The restaurant was located at Bali’s capital, Denpasar. I couldn’t remember what the name for this restaurant was. Anyway, it is not recommended restaurant.

Nasi Timbel Komplit. I like the soup, the taste was similar to borsch. The fried chicken and fish were very dry and hard.

It is called fly fish. It is ok for me.

On the way to check in our accommodation, tour guide roughly brief us the itinerary for the coming days. Legian Hotel was the first hotel that we stay. It was 3 stars hotel and approx. RM60 per night. We'll stay here for three nights.

I shared the room with my sister.

We took the shower and then we had the walk at Legian Street. Along the street you could see lot of shop, café, bar, club, restaurants and temple. There was crowded. We went back to the hotel at 11.45pm something. Tired.

This was happened at last week after I finished the class. Suddenly, I feel like going to toilet while yeeleng and I were waiting the bus. Well, I went to Jaya One’s public toilet settle it. Ok, here was the normal case only.

Just now I went to Jaya One’s public toilet again. I felt something wrong with the toilet while I stepped inside. I was wondering the interior of the toilet had the big different with last week. I thought there is another toilet available in Jaya One. After that, I tried to look for the “another” toilet around there. I couldn’t find it, though. Then I went back to that toilet and passed over the female toilet. I had a quick glance over inside. Oh my god, I realized that last week I went to the wrong side. Luckily there was no girl coming in at that time or else I can’t imagine how embarrassed I was. The girl comes and kasi slap gau gau? The girl shouts out loudly? Saya sudah jadi “yam chong” (lewd person)?

Sorry leh, I’m innocent one. I won’t repeat the same mistake in the future.

This month seems not many things to post. Beside of going to class and rushing assignments, I don’t even have any stuffs can be write here.

Today is 16 of June. How many days leave? It is 9 days to go leh! Omg, damn fast. By the way, I have to rush up all the works within 9 days.

Last night, gmug asked me a question in msn; do you feel excited of going xxxx? I answered him no, perhaps that feeling not coming yet. Properly next week I get excited until sleepless at the night and my mind keep thinking of how nice is there.

Continue back to chat room, I even discussed with gmug what are the reasons he’s going to use when the classmates curious that I disappeared for a week. The souvenir as well, should I buy it for them and bla bla bla………..

Whatever lah. Well, I want to continue my tracing.

Betong

Betong is a town in southern Thailand, and near the boundary to Malaysia. The journey takes around 3 to 4 hours start off from Ipoh.

Ipoh -> Kuala Kangsar -> Taiping -> Gerik -> boundary -> Betong

There is a very small town where completed with two streets only. Here was occupied the most by Chinese. In term of the foods, I personally not really like it even though majority is Chinese food. Consuming on the foods is quite cheap. Things to do in Betong are rather less and less. Besides of street shopping and eating, there are not many interesting places to go.

Conclusion, this place is quite boring.

New semester is started!

Alright, it’s time to update the blog. I’m gonna to continue the University’s life. Suppose today is the first day of new semester, but I remain the same sitting at home and online until midnight, like now. Thanks to the faculty officer who arranged the “special” timetable to us. Monday is free of any classes. That’s great. Unfortunately, there are two lecturer classes available on Saturday. You might answer me that no need attend lecturer class lah!

Well, I should set down some objective in order to guide myself all the way of this semester or further.

1. Creativity – I always struggled on it when I stepped into this field. Why I don’t have the mind of create a piece of outstanding artwork? That’s the big question mark appeared in my mind constantly. There are lot of suggestion to make you become a creative person, such as brainstorming and mind mapping. That’s fine, but it’s not worked to me. I really need to put more effort on it.

2. CSS – Properly you heard many times that I wanted to learn CSS. So far I never touch it yet. I often giving different kind of excuses to myself, no time to learn it, nobody guide me, and bla bla bla. Honestly, it is a challenge to handle it without anyone provides the guidelines. I’m not genius, but I wish to master it as this moment I’m focusing on webpage design. Is there anyone willing to help me?

3. Photography – I’m the beginner in photography and there are lots of skills that I want to learn. I will invest part of my saving into the accessories like lenses, filter, flashgun, etc. Everything goes through step by step.

Here are the three main targets. How many of these can be achieved in the end? I try my best le…….

This was my first time to create the HDR (High Dynamic Range) photo. As what you can see the comparison from below, the HDR photo really impressive and outstanding compared to the normal one. I noticed that HDR technique may not apply to any photos. Maybe I lack of experience on creating the HDR photos. I guess I do not need to explain the techniques or anything regarding to this, as you can found the information in any photography magazine or even internet easily.

I noticed that all of the cakes are 1kg weight when I look around at the bakery. Luckily my neighbor was the staff of this bakery, she sold me a half kilo cake personally. My home only few persons and we are unable to finish 1kg cake. As you can see this is fruit cake. It cost me RM22. Ok lah, not that expensive. Hehehe....

Joshua's birthday celebration

This was the celebration of Joshua’s birthday and greet myself finished the assignment at the same time. It is really tough to rush all the final submission within two weeks ago. Normally in the diploma session, I sacrificed one night sleeping hour to complete the works. Now it is totally not work in my university life. Even two nights also seems not enough to use. Yea lah….I knew I always last minutes work. Hehehe…..

Well, back to Joshua’s birthday celebration. This post is supposed to talk about his celebration. :D

At the previous, Sharon who is introduced this Japanese restaurant to Hon Mun. After the research from internet, we got quite lot of good comment on this restaurant. (I feel like eating sushi at that time also: p)

As usual we arrived there early and prepared everything. While waiting for him, we ordered two plates of sushi because very hungry. The sushi was great. For our main course, I rated it as ok ok only. (Maybe other would be nicer.)

After finishing everything, it was the time to take out the cake. One of the staff brought out the cake and sang the birthday song together with us. In the end, many the staffs gave him a greeting when we walked out from the restaurant. Conclusion, the services was good. Haha….Total of amount is RM170.25 after discounting RM5. Therefore, the price is acceptable.

There are too many things postpone to update at here. Therefore, I just ignore all of it and not going to post them anymore. As the title said I still busy with my works until end of this month. Now I was starting to plan for the Redang trip. But there is the blocking as some of them said no money and then the whole trip is not enough of people. Sigh….. Well, now I still getting the people to join in. Hopefully it does not delay again and again because every year having the same reason for cancels the trip.

As usual today I went out do some shooting. After that I came back to Wangsa Maju LRT took the rapid bus back home. While waiting for the bus, there is an old woman waiting the bus as well. Firstly, she has a glance on me then she asked me what bus number I waiting for. Actually we are waiting for the same bus go into Seksyen 2. Afterward, she chitchats with me. Suddenly she pops up a question and said are you 16 years old? My goodness. I was like …….. (Hard to explain my feeling. For those who met the same situation you should understand that kind of feeling, am I right?)
“I’m 21 years old”, I answered her.

Should I happy or sad? For me, the answer is sad. But most of my friends said you should happy that you still look young. The worse thing is all of them treat it as the funny story. =.= Speechless.

An unexcited Chinese New Year

I have no feeling for the Chinese New Year, even thought the red lanterns was hanging around here. The most I hate is the roads. The cars are jamming everywhere.

Recently I was busying with the assignments especially for the photography and advertising design. Each of the weeks has to submit the assignments and presentation. Even the latest assignment of photography is shooting the night scenery which is must to regarding to the Chinese New Year. The holiday is already short enough, but still need to go for assignment. =.=”

I think I am considered early to purchase the clothes for Chinese New Year. I know quite lots of people still not buy it yet. By the way, just now I purchased three shirts only from Sunway Piramid. I’m going to buy a pant later on. Hehe....

Review back to yesterday’s programs. I went out to Pudu bus station met up with my mum and sister at 2pm. Then we had the breakfast (because all of us haven’t eat breakfast also) at Crystal Jade La Mian Restaurant which is located at Lot 10. The La Mian (Cantonese called Lai Mien) was good taste. We had ordered Siu Lung Bao as well. It was delicious too. After that went to Pavilion had a short walk.

Around 7pm, my friends came forward to fetch us to Genting Highland (during this period everywhere was traffic jam =.=”). The concert was started at 8pm. Thanks for my friend’s driving skill, we were arrived there punctuality. This was my first time watched the concert without looking at the big projector screen. As the spot is not really big, so the stage is much closer than the audience. Overall the performance was remained great.

Oh yea, I received the loan. It is only 7k++. :( It leaves 1k++ after deducting the school fees and camera. At the previous, I expected I will get two semester of payment. Anyway, tomorrow I’m going to get my camera. Wahaha.....so excited.

New semester

No doubt that some of the subjects really grabs my attention. For the subjects that I dislike, I still need to face it and solve it. This is called study.

Goodbye 2007

Today is last day of 2007. What is your feeling now? My feeling is not that happy as the long semester holiday going to end very soon. Yes, I never miss the UTAR life. There is only a word that always appeared in my mind, horrible. Well, well, well, I shouldn’t talk something that makes me unhappy right now.

Back to 26-12-2007, it was Camie’s birthday. There are total 10 peoples involved in this celebration included Camie of cause. It was a simple celebration. We make it at home and side order the pizza and KFC. I prepared the curry fish balls too (Christmas Eve’s BBQ remained banyak fish ball tau! So I take this chance to clear it. Hehehe…). Before that I was planning to upload the recorded video of Joshua kissing Camie. Unfortunately, both of them not allowed me to do that. Anyway, I respect them.

I couldn’t sleep right now. Today around 10am arrive my home and went to sleep until just now, 11.00pm. After that I went to BRJ yum cha together with Joshua and Ah Mok. I ordered the nasi lemak ayam, roti canai cheese and cup of teh O panas. I was like two days didn’t eat any foods. Perhaps I had drank too much of beer last night. Actually not much, just four glass of it. (Mum, thanks for helping me drink the fourth glass). To be honest, I dislike drinking the wine and beer. I lose in such a simple game play. So this was the punishment. I’m not really felt of getting drunk, just my head felt heavy and my face heat up quickly. One more, I was hyper after having that. I keep on disturbing those who are try to sleep on the bed. Jahat~

So for the BBQ section, I’m not going to post it at here due to the photos not with me right now. Maybe you can look out for the YeeLeng’s blog later. Lastly, thanks for the Christmas present.

Two days to go.........Christmas eve

Hehe, almost end of the December only update my blog. There are actually quite lots of things to get ready update in here. As usual, two words to say: “Lazy loh!”

The Christmas is coming very soon. I don’t know it should be happy or sad. I haven’t buy the Christmas present and don’t even know what should I buy. BBQ will be the main celebration for this Christmas. No countdown or any crazy spray activity on this year.

That’s all for this post. Hehe, I know it is very fu hin. At least won’t to be 0 post end up by this month.

Miserable life

I gonna crazy soon. I know what my current condition is and I can’t afford to go out have some fun like shopping, eating at here and there or even traveling. The one I can do is everyday hiding myself at home and around two days only step out from my house once. Normally went to fill up the water and buy some ingredients for cooking. It is a miserable lifestyle.

My new housemate’s boyfriend asked me: “You don’t think it is boring that staying at home everyday?” “Eh, today didn’t step out from house ah?” “Everyday surfing and watching series don’t felt boring meh?”

Sigh, what can I reply to him?
I always answer: “ok ok loh”.

Actually another answer appeared in my mind, do you think I wish to do that? I got do nothing with the broke period. I stay at home is the best of the best way and praying the loan come faster. Yes, FASTER please. Ok?

Crabs.....

Since few weeks ago had the bad taste of seafood at Pulau Ketam, just now I went to eat crabs again. Actually my sister suggests this great idea during on the way back to KL from Ipoh. The location of this restaurant is Bandar Sri Damasara, Taman Wangsa Permai. There are already full of people while we reach there at 6pm. The crab’s price is damn cheap. It is cheaper than Pulau Ketam. They offer RM18 per kg. Approximately three crabs.

There are few more kinds of cooking the crabs, such as cheese, “kung bou” and “kam heong”. Before that we were planning to order crabs only. But it won’t look so good. So we ordered “salt yolk crabs” and a “taufu”. Both of the dishes are delicious. It is really cheap and good taste. That is the reason draw lot of people come forward to taste it.

Yea, I’m free until I have lot of time to prepare for my dinner everyday. Above is my dinner just now. It contains of spaghetti, pork chop, egg, and tomato. Perhaps the arrangement of the food not so attractive (because the plate not big enough to fit in all the things).

It just a short post, and tomorrow I’m going back to hometown.

PhotoshopWorld Asia Pacific 2007

I attended the Photoshop World Asia Pacific 2007 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel by three days ago. There were around thousands and three hundreds of people joined this seminar. Ms Loh Ming Wei and CK were being there also. I noticed that all of the speakers in this seminar came from oversea, for example Singapore.

The seminar was all regarding to the Adobe Photoshop which is included its history, products, and tutorials. The organizer provided few of the professional to show the live tutorials in many aspects. It was related to graphic design, web design, advertising, photo retouching, etc. It is really worth to attend this event.

You may gain lot of additional knowledge in using the Photoshop, if you had copy down all the steps of the tutorials that they showing on the projector screen. Unfortunately, I didn’t do that. I just sit at there and focus on what they are doing in Photoshop. That’s why I forget 90% of the steps. Anyone got the full notes or part of it? Is that possible to give me a copy?

Yea, I knew that I having the boring life everyday. It happened since the semester break started on October. Currently, I’m not watching drama then will be surfing internet or even playing the yahoo online game. Is that everyone are expecting this kind of life style? Yes, you are. But after a short period you will understand what is my feeling now.

You probably suggest me go and get a job. Either it is full time or part time. Previously, I applied quite lot of jobs which is related to design. For example, web designer, graphic designer, etc. I had received some feedback from that. The worst thing was a company totally lost contact while I inform them that I accept their job offer. I don’t know whether it is good luck or bad luck.

Today I went to Jaya Jusco to look for the job. I found that few of the shop stick a vacancy notice beside its main entrance. Well, I walked in interview. After around 10-20 seconds, I walked out. The reason is all of the positions are already full. I was wondering that since it is already get somebody, why they still put the notice out? Memang babi!!!

Hehe... It was actually collect from the freezer. The ice was being amassed almost one inch of thickness. Camie and I used different kind of way to remove the ice with the tool kit and table spoon. We were take turns to remove it. Because it is really spent you quite much of energy and strength. While the moments we removing the ice, I felt that we were tend to demolish the fridge.

New table fan

The previous table fan some problem occurred few months ago. My friend who pro in repairing electronic stuffs told me that normally is the small component get spoiled. I don’t know what the name of that component called is (but I saw it before). After buying that new component and installed it only noticed that it is not work at all. /keksei... Conclusion is the fan’s motor gets spoiled. (Cantonese called “tar pau”)

The new table fan is Pensonic brand which is same brand with the previous one. It cost me around RM67.00. Recently I noticed that changing quite lot of new things. Like few days ago the new LCD monitor. Now is my table fan turns. When can I have a new car, new house (dreaming….)? Hehe….

On the other side, I have a new housemate/ Camie’s roommate very soon. I got to know this news on this Monday. During that time Camie said that she is not confirming yet. Today I woke up and realized that the girl was already move part of her stuffs to here. I get shocked. I not really know her so many things. I just know her little things from Camie. She is advance student in SOT. She has a boyfriend. That’s all!

New monitor

Don’t misunderstand that I showing off, ok? Hehe….

One day before I went back to hometown, my dad gave me a call. He asked me back to Ipoh get a new LCD monitors for him. As my hometown’s CRT monitors spoiled long time ago. I suggest that I gave my current 15” LCD monitors to him, and then paid me money for buying a new one. Finally deal with my dad successfully. Hehe... Maybe he is looking for basic use only. So he doesn’t mind to use “second hand”.

Thus, I take this chance to buy a bigger size of LCD monitors. From the beginning I was considering 17” or 19”. Afterward I make a call to my friend, who pro in computer hardware. His suggestion is buying 20” or 22”. Although the 17” and 19” LCD monitors are cheap and worth to buy it now. But 20” or 22” is become popular no longer, said by him.

I did the research on internet such as dell. Dell was doing promotion on 22” LCD at the end of September. They offered RM859 for it. Woah, it’s cheap enough. I really got an excited feeling to get it immediately. My friend said it is not bad, but he still preferred Samsung. Then I went to Lowyat Plaza look for the Samsung brand monitor. Samsung LCD monitor really did a good job in term of color, sharpness and contrast. But Samsung brand LCD expensive than other brand. I am being hesitated between Dell 22” and Samsung 20” during that time.

In order to get a sharp image quality, I choose Samsung 20” at last. As the resolution for these two monitors are same. Which mean the smaller size of the monitor the sharper of the image quality can be presented. Wide screen monitor really good for working on Photoshop. It provided larger spaces for the workplace. :D

Cameron Highland

I have long time didn’t update the blog. Went back to hometown for 10 days, there are no high speed internet connection, no drama and no msn chatting. It’s really having a boring lifestyle at there. All the way stay at home just sleep, eat, and sit here and there.

23-9-2007, Sunday got an idea went to Cameron highland. I spent 1 hour something to reach there. Last been there was during the trip with Joshua, Camie and Yik Ming on February 2006. The purpose of going there because of its cool whether and enjoy the tea (my mum and dad always been there just enjoy the tea =.=). Yes, the tea is great. I ordered the drink was strawberry tea. It is no different with the normal tea we had seen. In term of the color and the tea pack. When you taste it you will like it so much. It is full of strawberry smell. The drink has a delicate sweet. There are quite lot of flavor such as apple, blueberry, rose, etc. It is relaxing while you have the tea with the cool wind.

After the tea time, of cause went to look for the flower and vegetable. All the plants arranged very nicely. Sometime you even smell a strong fertilizer foul smell which is made from chicken feces.

Ampang yong tau fu

Well, Tuesday just finished the exam and then we were gone to eat “yong tau fu”. Actually the idea was come from me. Before that I saw Poh Yee’s msn displaying the “yong tau fu” picture, and then I asked her is that nice or not. She said yes. Then I was like so desperate to eat it (long time didn’t eat mah). So Poh Yee guide us to there. The location is very far where is at Pekan Ampang if no mistake. There were lots of people eating at there. And we ordered the food as above.
1. goreng sui gao, goreng chong guen and yao za kuai
2. yong tau fu
3. paper wrap chicken
4. asam laksa ikan kampung
5. chicken leg
6. sui gao

Woah, just four people ate so many dishes. But we still can finish it because we didn’t eat breakfast before the examination started. The comment of the food is not bad. The one I most like to eat is sui gao. The paper wraps chicken not that nice. Maybe the KL tastes different with my hometown one. Overall the bill is total around 56 bucks. So it is ok to me. After having the lunch, Poh Yee actually want to went back home. Unfortunately, we took her to Time Square watch movie. Hehe….so bad.

We watched Black Sheep. The movie was not that nice. From the beginning, it was quite ok one. But the following part a bit out of logical. But it couldn’t say out of logical lah….haiz…..don’t know how to explain it. Whatever, the movie is not highly recommended.

The second excited thing was our website launched formally. The website is work together with Yee Leng and Kelvin. The aim of the website is provided the services on photography and web design. I’m responsibility for the web design. Yee Leng and Kelvin focus on the photography. The website was actually prepared at 6 months before. Exam + Concert

Yesterday just finished up the exam paper. Section A quite easy because the tips is given by the lecturer (exactly the same things). For the section B, we need to draw some sketches. Referred back to the past year questions paper, I already knows the sketches title. But I didn’t prepare for that. So during the exam, I simply draw it (very fu hin). Another thing is the sketches required you to draw it via black ink ballpoint pen or any black waterproof pen. Fine, I was following the instructions. But due to my fuhin-ness, I was wondering the one who marking my paper whether can figure out what I drawing or not.

Well, after the exam then g-mug and I rushed to the National Stadium Bukit Jalil for watching Jacky Cheung’s concert. As you know the paper ended up at 5.30pm, so all the roads were traffic jam. We spent around two and half an hour only arrive the destination. That means 8.30pm which is the concert starting time as well. Of course our feeling is very excited and panic. From the beginning, we couldn’t found the entrance for our seating number. Luckily the staffs are helpful. Thus, we were success to get our seat very soon.

Once we settle down, the concert gets start. At this moment, our body felt super hot. We even used the exam paper as the fan to cold down the body. Beside of me the girl saw that, and then she got extra big-palm looks promotion paper given by Maxis and passed us two of it. Woah, she is kind enough. We look around of us, we realized that we are considered as the youngest one except those children brought along by their parents. Another funny thing is in front of me got an auntie who is big fan of Jacky’s Cheung. She kept on shaking her colorful light stick for the whole night. Yes, we couldn’t say that that is wrong. Why I said funny is because around of us everyone were sitting there watch the concert quietly. All the way only that auntie was hyper.

Overall the concert performed very well even the firework also outstanding than the other singer’s concert. His life singing skill still remains the high quality and can be said that its already achieved to disc quality. This is the main reason why everybody was come to watch his concert. The stage design and the lighting make the whole concert more attractive. It’s really good in visual and hearing. The concert majority focus on Cantonese song and of cause available the Mandarin song as well. Jacky’s Cheung presented a short music drama during the concert. It is combining with “swuit long wu “and “ru guo ai“(ru guo ai is Yee Leng favorite).

Unfortunately, I didn’t take down any picture. As the weakness of my N73 is night shooting. Even I capture it also come out a bad quality of picture. Before that g-mug planned to bring DSLR. But as you know the concert not allows you to bring the camera, so we didn’t bring it. The one which surprise us was actually everyone also brought their own digital camera into the concert. We even saw some of them brought their DSLR. Oh my god. G-mug was regrets to do that. Conclusion, RM198 ticket is worth! After enjoying the concert, is the time to prepare the next/last exam paper.

Deadline

The coming Friday is my deadline. Cause that day is my first exam paper. Honestly, until this moment I haven’t read a single word. My notes are already printed out. Just I didn’t have mood to read it and memorize it. I most worried about the first paper, Advertising Design I. Because the lecturer damn sucks. I really didn’t know what he teaching in the class. He likes to do whatever he wants. He never follows the course syllabus. He likes to make joke. But I can’t felt the funny at all. I getting hate him. Well, lot of complaint on him. Next semester I am going to meet him again. =.=

The other happy matter happens at the same day which is Jacky Cheung’s concert. I was waiting for that since many years ago. I am a big fan of his song. That’s why I bought RM198 seat (although it is not the most expensive seat). It’s considered as a big support right. Hehehe….. I think the majority of fans will be attended are middle-aged and old-aged. I was surprising that all the prices of seat are sold out except the RM198. I hope to enjoy his concert soon.

Today

Today is last day of August. Today is Malaysia 50th Independence Day. Today I am alone at home. Today I felt super boring and emptiness.

30-8-2007 Merdeka eve programs
5.50am: I woke up and get ready to fetch Yee Leng.
6.45am: Started from Sentul went to PJ Utar.
8.00am: Drawing presentation.
10.00am: Finished the presentation and went to study room settle
another assignment. Because later have to submit it.
12.30pm: Having the lunch at SS2 Wong Kok with some of my course
mates.
2.00pm: Arrived Mid Valley and took a look the home deco exhibition.
3.00pm: Tasting different kind of moon cake at moon cake stall with
Kelvin’s brother. :D
5.00pm: Arrived Bandar Sunway and lepak at second hand shop while
waiting the steamboat shop open.
5.30pm: Started to eat steamboat + chitchat + ss at there.
8.00pm: Finished our steamboat and time to back home.
9.30pm: Reached home. (Thanks to Hon Mun guide me back Wangsa
Maju). I was tired like hell.
10.00pm: Did my favorite thing, watch drama. :D
12.00am: I heard lot of firework around my housing area.
1.00am: Sleep!

Although we were not going to countdown and watch firework at certain places, but we still enjoyed the whole journey.

I started draw this piece of drawing at Friday night. I fully use charcoal. I get suffer during fill up the tone on the illustration board. I am not able to handle the charcoal very well. Only the facial part I make it for one night. The hair only spent me half of the day. My back bone felt painful for sitting there for a whole day. Really, I put the sufficient effort on that. What about I get a low mark for it? Don’t worry, I will kill Lx Mxx Wxx. Hahaha…. Let’s look at the incomplete work.

I know my piece still not achieve the high level skill yet.

Time passes fast

Well, so fast step into middle of August. There are remaining around three to four weeks and going to end my first semester. Afterward, I have three months of semester break as well. So it’s the time to get a job. Actually I aiming the Photoshop artist which is doing the photo touch up. But I found that it is hard to get such kind of position. Either their requirements are too high or none of this position shown in the job search website. Anyway, I still keep going on to search it. At the same time, position of graphic cum web design is not bad too. The requirements are fine to me. I’m not expecting a high payment as I lack of working experiences. What I want is try to learn something new out of my school life.

In the other side, suddenly so desperate to own a digital SLR. Haha…. Don’t forget that the notebook is waiting for me. How am I going to own both things at the same time? The digital SLR actually uses it for my coming semester subject which is digital photography. Before that I planned to share it with someone else. As you know it is an expensive stuff. Later on I was thinking that since it is capture in digital form, if I own it still can keep it for my personal use, right?

Nikon D40x

Yes. I prefer Nikon. Maybe its sharpness of the image grabs my attention. I’m not sure the price yet. According to Malaysia’s Nikon official website, they list out as RM2, 988.00. They reported as it is Nikon’s smallest digital SLR. I had some research about this model in some of the forums. They comment this model everything is good but it lack of autofocus motor in the camera body. I don’t know how important the thing is. I need to know about that if anyone expert in this field.

Broke again!

As my previous post mentioned that there is no more financial problem on this month. Now, I’m broke again. Few days ago I call back and request for the living expense from my mum. She told me the problem not settles yet. But she still paid me 500 bucks. It sounds quite a lot, right? Honestly, it is not enough. Below is the calculation:

Rental: RM250
Bills: RM50
Transport: RM80
Total: RM380

See? Conclusion is remaining 120 bucks after deducting all the costs above. Try and think of 120 bucks how to spend it within one month. It means my consumption of everyday cannot over 4 bucks. Oh my god.

Yesterday I was walking around in Jaya Jusco’s food department almost two hours. What for I stay at there so long? I was like those stingy housewives who looking for the most cheap and worth goods ( cantonese called: peng, leng, zeng). I have no choice to do that.

I bought two packs of Cintan mee without any flavoring. Here offer me 8 meals. It is most cheap and branded mee. It cost me RM3.25.

It is black pepper source and use to replace the dark soya sauce. As the dark soya sauce cost 3 to 4 bucks something. I never try to mix the mee with black pepper sourse before. Ohya, it is only 2.90.

Unknown branded of chicken burger. The reason that I choosing it, CHEAP! Normally it is around 5 to 6 bucks. Now this one cost me 3 bucks something.

It is called “ yao muk”. Although it is 70 sen but I planned to divide it into 3 meals.

My favorite drink. It is the cheapest as well for 1 liter pack.

All the goods here total is RM14 and allow me to have 8 meals. Each meal is RM1.75. Now does u agree that I was like the stingy housewife? Fine, I don’t mind what your comments are. Finally, I hope Ah Sir read through my post. Wish that he understand my circumstances and not forcing me to buy the Bofa Set. /cry

Oh yea, this week I going to celebrate Yik Ming’s birthday too. /faint…. Help~ anyone can send me to the jail? Only jail will offer the free meal and accommodation.

Send-off

One year ago I took AirAsia from KLIA to Sarawak. Yesterday, I had been KLIA again. I went to airport see my sister off. Her company sent her to oversea as the training. The duration would be two months or maybe more than that. For the first three weeks she would be at Belgium. After that would be stay at Holland until end of the training. My sister is expected to go oversea since long time ago. And always due to the certain reasons she failed to do that. Yes, now her dream comes true.

I’m admired that she had an opportunity went out to Europe country. When is my turn? Haha…. Good news is that I can take her car. But then I’m going to use it start from next month. I know everyone curious that why I don’t take it as early as possible. “Got car woh, of cause faster go and take it then go to lepak”. =.=" I hope to get it immediately as well. But this month I was broke. My parents are not afforded to pay me living expenses because of the financial problems. So I have to use my own savings. Sign….luckily that for this month only. :)
